Happy Ending Movies - Spoiling Indian Audiance's Taste

“Few months ago, I saw a set of literary books, on quite reasonable price and it came into my mind that it was in the city where my friend’s competitive exam was held. I asked if he could check those books quality. He returned after a week and told me that all stories were little incomplete. I had some doubts on his attempt of getting through the books and he stammered that he read few of them.” This was just an instance from my life. I reckon that I picked a person who preferred watching first day-first show of a nonsense movie with a porn-star as actress (No offense to Sunny Leone’s fans) to Batman - The Dark Knight Rises. By now, most of you have understood my point of view.
I guess my friend has never checked any 21st century story or fiction or ever tried to read Chekhov’s THE LADY WITH THE DOG. Actually he never and he is a true embodiment of spicy Bollywood movies fan where hero-heroine dance around the tree (READ ‘in foreign location’ for big budget movies), teases heroine and she falls damn hard for him, hero faces villain, overthrows him by destroying so many rules of physics in which most of us took almost 2 years in learning (much more in graduation) and at the end of the day they live happily after.
Seriously, sometimes I think what has happened to Indian audience. I mean they turn a movie with no story or an inspiration from any Hollywood (Sorry ‘Bang Bang’ fans: P) into a blockbuster movie with 200 crore rupees collection whereas they rejected a movie like ‘The Lunchbox’ because it includes no happy ending. I always wonder what they want to see – A movie with no sense and full of double-meaning (adds ‘repetitive’ too) jokes or a realistic movie. It still baffles me when most of people around me called ‘Queen’ a stupid and worthless movie. Seriously, what they really want?
Actually they wanted to see Kangna Ranaut(Rani) falling from the Eiffel Tower and suddenly, the hero jumped from his flight in an attempt of saving Kangna. And fortunately after spoiling numerous rules of nature (Don’t forget physics), he succeeded in saving Kangna. If this scene had been in the movie, it would have been a 200 crore movie too, I bet. I’m not trying to be a pessimist at all but it, somehow, seems like an effort of escaping from the reality, leaving the spectator behind in a strange utopia.
And just for your kind information, 'Bang Bang' is an an exact replica of the original Hollywood movie 'Knight And Day'. And an another new entry in copied English song, ‘G Phadke’ from the movie 'Happy Ending'; it's a copy of A English song called, ‘I Like To Move It’ by Real 2 Real (We've all watched the dance in 'Madagascar’(2005). Don't you ?). I've also heard that Bollywood is going to make an adaptation of Hollywood movie ‘The Fault in Our Stars’. Seriously I don’t wanna watch it for they will put all DDLJ elements, replacing all natural elements of the original. Don't pour out your irate comment if you've got offended by my selective but good movie taste.
